The Soil Alchemy Logo
The Sacred Geometry of the Soil Alchemy Logo
The following description was written by Deb Delisi, the designer of the logo I use for Soil Alchemy. Each of the layers are painted in light and interact with the layers above and below, creating a logo of living energy that emanates my peaceful and compassionate intentions wherever the logo is.
The design is spherical, like the earth, and it is green and blue, representing land and sky and water. The purple-pink radiates outward and represents taking the earth energy and loving into other dimensions. Taking something from the physical (earth) to the vastness of the unseen (sky). There is cohesive movement here.
There are 12 overlapping “U” shapes that form the flower petals, and 12 outer points. The dots at the end of each point are open to allow energy (and potentials) to move in and out. Interestingly, there are 7 dots at the tip of each of the 12 points, for a total of 84 dots. In numerology, 8 + 4 = 12, so there is an alignment with the 12 again. 12 is also the product of 4 x 3, and in numerology, 4 is earth energy and 3 represents form and creativity. So the message is one of energized creativity with earth energy.
The 12-pointed geometry is made of two hexagons that overlap. The hexagon is the shape of nearly all crystals. It is also found in the merkabah, and is a powerful synergistic geometry. The 4 main outer points are the four directions (north, east, south and west) as well as the 4 points on a cube. As a platonic solid, the hexahedron (cube) is a dimensional square, equal on all sides. It is associated with the element of Earth and the four directions, which at that time were 1) in front of you, 2) behind you, 3) to the left of you, and 4) to the right of you. These were the four directions through which one navigated their world.
For me it feels like a portal in a sense, allowing that creative energy flowing from the Universe back to us and back “out” again. We are the centre, receiving loving guidance from the Universe to every cell in our body and our love, compassion, awareness and presence to All That Is radiates back out into the Cosmos. Like a torus – we’re in the centre, on the Earth and the Earth is also a centre and the Universal energies flow through us, the Earth and beyond, and back again, Creating upon Creation (thank you Jennifer Hough)!.
